Search for the return on this game and you get 96.51%. That is the figure almost every listing carries, and it is the one on this sheet. Pragmatic Play's own game page currently states something else: 96.48%, under Basic Game Info.
Neither number is a typo. 96.51% is the long-standing published figure for Sweet Bonanza and is what operators and databases have quoted since the 2019 release. 96.48% is what the developer states on the live page today. Pragmatic Play does not publish a changelog for game maths, so there is no public record saying when the page changed or whether a revised model shipped alongside it.
What that means in practice is narrow but useful. A three-hundredth of a percentage point is irrelevant to a session — it is roughly three cents per $1,000 of turnover. It matters only as a warning about the category: if two sources disagree about the headline figure of the most-listed slot in the world, a figure copied from any third-party page is worth less than the one printed inside the game you are about to open.
The maximum win is also quoted two ways

Note what the sequels did not change. The grid, the tumble and the eight-symbol rule are identical across all of them. What moves is the multiplier ceiling and the top cap, which raises variance without materially moving the published return.
